Life at The Dower House

Life at The Dower House Care Home (Winchester)

The Dower House residential nursing home combines practical design with state-of-the art care equipment. Should you require any extra care, you can access specialist nursing beds. We have four spacious short-stay rooms enabling us to offer post-operative nursing care or holidays for those who would like to spend quality time in the country. Post-operative residents can take advantage of our visiting physiotherapist.

The Dower House is within easy reach of Winchester and all of Hampshire which offers many historical places to visit, including the magnificent cathedral. We are easily accessible from London, being only one hour by train, and 30 minutes from Southampton airport. The charming Hampshire town of Alresford is just a short drive along the delightful Itchen Valley, an area well-known for its fly-fishing.
