Colin and team help to rehome birds which their owners are no longer able to care for, as well as spending a lot of time rescuing sick and injured birds, nursing them back to helath before releasing them into the wild to enjoy life in their natural habitat.
Those birds which will not survive in the wild are found suitable new homes with those who have the knowledge to care for them.
Residents and staff enjoyed learning about the work carried out, including stories of recent rescues. We were also able to get up close to some of the birds - for those feeling brave enough - and make lasting memories!
