The large comfortable drawing room is tastefully furnished with antiques, has comfy armchairs, and looks out over our delightful courtyard, which has a lovely fountain bubbling away in summer and is surrounded by beautiful flowers. The courtyard is also a great suntrap to sit out in warmer months.

If you are looking for a smaller space, also leading onto the courtyard, the cosy sitting room is perfect for private meetings, reading a book or entertaining one or two guests. It’s also a perfect space for friends and family needing somewhere to take a moment in more challenging times.

We also have a bright, airy, sunny conservatory with doors leading out to the patio where, when the weather allows, meals and drinks can be taken. Also leading onto the patio is our well-stocked library, with an extensive collection to suit everyone’s taste.

Treat yourself to a haircut in our purpose-built salon where you can be pampered by one of two hairdressers who visit each week. Appointments for this can be made through our care team and will be charged to your account. If you prefer to continue using your usual hairdresser when you come to The Dower House, they can also make use of the salon.

We also have weekly visits from a Chiropodist and Physiotherapist and can arrange visits from other professionals as requested.
