GENERAL KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Join our busy, friendly professional kitchen team. This varied roles includes:

- Preparing and serving breakfast

- Preparing vegetables, sandwiches and desserts

- Baking cakes and biscuits

- Cleaning & washing up

- Helping the cook

The ideal candidate would have some previous experience in a professional kitchen and must have their own means of transport as the role does requires some early starts. Must be fluent in English as attention to details is very important.

Contracted hours are approximately 110 hours over a four week period, this includes some weekends and evenings, plus extra hours covering annual leave and absence.

THE PAY RATE IS FROM £12.71 PER HOUR, with holiday allowance of 5.6 weeks per annum. Uniform provided.

Job summary

To join The Dower House as an essential member of the kitchen team, helping things run smoothly and ensuring all items are washed and put away in a timely manner so that meal times and ad hoc requests can be carried out as necessary with all required cutlery, crockery, pans etc.

No experience required, as all training will be provided.

Own transport is essential for this role due to early starts and/or late finishes required.

Parking is available for staff.

Must be eligible to work in the UK
