Job summary
To join The Dower House as an essential member of the kitchen team, helping things run smoothly and ensuring all items are washed and put away in a timely manner so that meal times and ad hoc requests can be carried out as necessary with all required cutlery, crockery, pans etc.
No experience required, as all training will be provided.
Own transport is essential for this role due to early starts and/or late finishes required.
Parking is available for staff.

Senior Healthcare Assistant - Nights. Full time, permanent
In this role, you will work as an integral part of the nursing team, delivering the highest standards of personalised care to residents. You will ensure that everyone is treated with respect and dignity, and that individual’s rights to privacy, dignity, independence and choice are met.
You will lead and supervise carers with their work allocation and teamwork.
Senior Healthcare Assistants assist the nurses as required, with nursing assessments and undertaking medication administration
Responsibilities:
- To provide the highest level of person centred care
- To be a team leader
- To act as a key worker
- Support the nursing team, participating in writing resident care plans, assessments and observations
- Undertake medication administration rounds in allocated areas
- Understand and have an awareness of Infection Preventions and Control
- Be an active and supportive member of the care team members as appropriate, ensuring that the home is a friendly and supportive working environment
Qualifications and requirements:
Essential:
- Care Certificate
- Minimum of NVQ Level 3
- Nursing home experience
- I.T literate
- Proficient in writing care plans
- Fluent English
- Eligible to work in the UK with the correct authorisation & documentation in place
