Nursing Care
The Dower House employs a very high ratio of nursing staff to residents. This means that you will get to know the staff who take care of you. We are proud of our extremely low staff turnover, which allows us to deliver excellent continuity of care. For your safety and peace of mind, a nurse-call system operates throughout the building ensuring you can easily contact staff 24 hours a day.
In addition to our highly experienced Matron, you will be cared for by State Registered Nurses (RGN’s), a State Enrolled Nurse (SEN), Senior Carers and Carers. This team provide care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our highly professional nursing staff are trained to deal with all medical conditions and ailments to an excellent standard and at least 75% of our Care Assistants are trained to NVQ level 2 or 3.
